The Con Cora Foundation, led by global artist Karol G, visited the Dr. Eduardo Liceaga General Hospital and the National Network of Shelters (Red Nacional de Refugios) in Mexico City as part of the «Con Cora Tour Latam,» a tour that began last year in Colombia, and has the mission of bringing joy, entertainment, and support to vulnerable populations. This is the first time that the initiative, with which the Foundation and the artist toured different cities in their home country, has reached abroad.
«After the impact of the ‘Con Cora Tour’ last year, we are proud to be able to bring the joy of this tour to vulnerable communities internationally. Always driven by the social mission of our founder, we will continue our hard work of seeking and creating women’s empowerment projects regardless of borders,» said Valentina Bueno, General Director of the Con Cora Foundation.
During these two visits, Karol G was able to share with women, patients, and their families, delivering an inspiring message of empowerment and resilience. The artist performed a special presentation with her music.
Focused on supporting sustainable projects over time aimed at women’s empowerment, the Con Cora Foundation works on two lines of action. The First is oriented towards equity (justice), equality (opportunities), and empowerment (capabilities) of the women participating in the Foundation’s programs and projects. The Second is oriented towards a more spiritual level, leaning towards the profound transformation of each of the lives it touches in its programs or projects.
In addition, the organization has supported projects that promote Latin culture, girls in STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), and women’s sports, including sponsoring Tata Calderón in F2.
