James hace uso de los increíbles productos locales para preparar nuevas y deliciosas recetas en cada lugar que visita, ya sea en la ladera de las montañas, las orillas del mar o la playa. Lo acompañan en su travesía algunos de sus amigos que son chef reconocidos, de talla mundial como Galton Blackstone, acreedor de una estrella Michelin, Raymond Blanc, Monica Galetti y Paul Rankin, entre otros.
El chefJames Martin ha publicado más de veinte libros best-seller de cocina, llenos de inspiración para animarse a preparar platos dulces y salados. Uno de sus últimos libros, Islands to Highlands fue el catalizador para la realización de esta serie.

James takes a river trip to a fantastic pick your own farm where he picks some raspberries and he uses them to cook a delicious pudding on the banks of the river. James also visits one of the world’s best chef Raymond Blanc at his restaurant Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, where he enjoys some of Raymond’s Michelin starred dishes.
